Because practitioners of the statistical analysis often address particular applied decision problems, methods developments is consequently motivated by the search to a better decision making under uncertainties.
Decision making process under uncertainty is largely based on application of statistical data analysis for probabilistic risk assessment of your decision.
The author states that statistics has become known in the twentieth century as the mathematical tool for analyzing experimental and observational data.
A photograph leaves out what is beyond its frame, statistical data generalizes answers into categories to make results meaningful, and words distinguish between specific concepts to present ideas.
Comparing and contrasting the reality of subjectivity in the work of history's great scientists and the modern Bayesian approach to statistical analysis.

The problem with the Classical Approach is that what constitutes an outcome is not objectively determined.
You need descriptive statistics for three reasons. First, if you don’t have enough variance on the variables of interest, you can’t test your null hypothesis. If everyone is white or no one is obese, you don’t have the right dataset for your study. Second, you are going to need to include a table of sample statistics in your paper. This should include standard demographic variables – age, sex, education, income and race are the main ones. Last, and not necessarily least, descriptive statistics will give you some insight into how your data are coded and distributed.
In the 8th week, you will complete the planning phase of the study itself and determine how you will analyze your results (statistical analysis). All of you will be able to keep it very simple and use t-tests to determine whether or not your results are statistically significant. You will determine how you will present/explain the results to interested stakeholders. You will also give some thought to the timeline for and costs of your project. If it takes too long or costs too much, you may need to alter the plan or seek financial help. I believe we have worked together to keep it simple, inexpensive and easily do-able. The object is to learn the process of an EB project and testing.

This week you identified the appropriate statistical analysis for your study proposal and considered how you will present the results. You also gave some thought to the timeline for and costs of your project, both obvious and hidden, which can impact your ability to carry out the project.
We receive numerous requests seeking SPSS data analysis compared to other statistical methods such as ANOVA, T-test and Linear regression.
