In this paper, CD estimation technique has been improved using DSP algorithm and optimal OSNR, BER have been achieved.

Prior to joining academia, he was with Bell Communications Research (Bellcore) doing research in optical networks and communication systems. His current research interests include vehicular networks, sensor networks, computer networks, wireless networks and communications systems, ad hoc wireless networks, self-organizing networks, smart grid, Internet of Things, optical communications and networks, bioinformatics, robotics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and security. He has published about 300 technical papers in IEEE journals and conference proceedings. He is an inventor on 15 patents (12 US patents and 3 international patents). He is well-known for his contributions to vehicular networks, wireless communications and networks, and optical communications and networks. He is the author (with G. Ferrari) of the 2006 Wiley book entitled “Ad Hoc Wireless Networks: A Communication-Theoretic Perspective”. He is the founder and President of Virtual Traffic Lights (VTL), LLC, a CMU start-up that was launched in December 2010 for providing solutions to several key transportation problems related to safety and traffic information systems, using vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) wireless communications paradigms. His work and inventions on VTL has been featured in more than 100 countries in different continents by CNN, New Scientist, Discovery Channel, GizMag, CBS, AUDI Technology Magazine, The Atlantic, Metro World News, Eyewitness News in Johannesburg, South Africa, many radio and TV channels, and Internet media. His industrial experience includes periods with Bell Communications Research, CTI Inc., Harris RF Communications, Aria Wireless Systems, Clearwire Technologies, Nokia Networks, Nokia Research Center, Neuro Kinetics, Asea Brown Boveri (ABB), General Motors (GM), Texas Instruments, and Intel. He currently serves or has served as a consultant or expert for several companies (such as Aria Wireless Systems, Harris RF Communications, Clearwire Technologies, Nokia Networks, Alcatel, Lucent Technologies), major law firms (Jones Day, Williams and Connolly, WilmerHale, Heller Ehrman, Baker Botts, Carlson and Caspers, Soroker-Agmon, Dinsmore&Shohl, etc.), and government agencies (such as NSF, DARPA, DoT) in the USA, Europe, and Asia in the broad area of telecommunications and networking. Santi P. Maity received his B. E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Durgapur (formerly known as REC Durgapur) and M. Tech in Microwaves with specialization in digital communication, from the University of Burdwan, West Bengal, India in 1993 and 1997, respectively. He did his Master project in Time and Frequency Section, National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi, India in 1997. He received his Ph. D degree in Engineering from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur (formerly Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur), India in 2008 in association with Machine Intelligence Unit, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. He received couple of Post-Doctoral research positions in different universities-Nanyang Technological University, Singapore; Laboratoire des Signaux et Systems, France and University of Vigo, Spain. He did his Post-Doctoral research for one year (January 2009 to July 2009 and February 2011 to July 2011) in the “Laboratoire des Signaux et Systems (CNRS-Supelec-Universite Paris-Sud 11)” in France. He is at present working as Professor since September, 2012 in Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, India. He was Head for the Department of Information Technology in IIEST, Shibpur from February, 2012 to 1st February, 2014. His research interests include multicarrier (MC)-CDMA, Cognitive Radio Networks, Compressive Sampling, Digital Watermarking, Secret Sharing, Medical Image Reconstruction at Compressed Sensing and Segmentation, Blood Vessels and Lesion Detection on Retinal Images. He has published about 190 research papers in International Journals and Conferences including IEEE Transactions/Journals, Letters, Elsevier Science, Springer Verlag, World Scientific etc. He completed successfully the Govt. of India sponsored project on Wireless Communication (MC-CDMA) as Principal Investigator on 2008-2010, supervised several Master and 6 Ph. D thesis and many others are working for Ph. D. He has delivered about 40 invited lectures and tutorial talk in International and National Conferences, National Seminars, Workshops, Faculty Development Programs and acted as Coordinator, TPC Member, Program Chair(s) and General Chair(s) in International Conferences.
He has been involved in several international Research projects related to Mobile communication, Consumer and Automotive segments. Vijay has 24+ years of experience and has Published, more than 17 Research Papers, 3 International Journals at various Wireless International Conferences – WTS, WWC, WWRF, IMSAA and COMSWARE and engaged academic Institutions for Research Projects. He is the author for the “Best-Paper and Outstanding Paper” award winning articles at IEEE/International conference.
He is a Senior Member of IEEE and a member of IEEE Internet of Things Community, IEEE Technical Committee on Security & Privacy, IETF DICE/ACE/COSE Working Groups, and IET. He is a member of CISO/TiE Taskforce on IoT Security, Secretary of IEEE Computer Society Bangalore Chapter, Executive Committee Member of IET Bangalore Network and leads its IoT activities in Karnataka State.
